Hello there! I’m very glad that you like my channel and yes I made the russian tea cakes with my mom on christmas! This is the recipe that we used:

1 cup soft butter

1/2 cup of sifted confectioner’s sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 - 1/4 cups sifted flour

1/4 tsp of salt

3/4 cups of finely chopped pecans

Mix the flour and salt together. Combine. Chill the dough. Roll into 1” balls and place on a baking sheet with aluminum foil on it. Bake in oven at about 400 degrees for about 10 minutes (but make sure that they don’t begin to brown.) Roll in confectioner’s sugar while still warm and let them cool. Then sprinkle or roll some more confectioner’s sugar onto them. :)
